What is the mortgage interest?

In case the interest fixed term is less than 10 years you can leave this field empty. According to the Dutch regulator AFM, in that case a fictive percentage of 5% shall be used in the calculation.
Exception: If the remaining mortgage duration is less than 10 years and the interest is fixed for this complete term, then you may calculate with the actual interest. In that case fill in your actual interest that you will be paying.

Select 'yes' if you want the calculator to take into consideration an outstanding loans, alimony payments, property lease hold and or an energy neutral property.

Normally a maximum mortgage calculation is based on a 30 year mortgage duration. In some specific cases a shorter duration can be selected.
This will however impact how much you can borrow.
If you do not fill in a mortgage duration, it will be based on the standard 30 years.

Personal loans are for example for paying of your car or a mobile phone. Or you can have a private lease car agreement. If you have one or more of these loans, add up all the monthly payments for the loans.

For example ongoing credit agreements with your bank or a credit card with limit that can be repaid over a longer duration of time. If you have one or more of these loans, add up all the original loan sums or limits.

Tip: generally it is wise to pay of as much of these loans as possible before a mortgage application as they significantly impact your borrowing capacity for a mortgage.
